Tennessee’s SEC Tournament run came up just short as the fourth-seeded Volunteers (27-7) fell to Florida in the championship game, extending their title drought in this event. The Vols, who last won the SEC Tournament in 2022, have now reached the final four times in the past seven years but hold just a 1-3 record in those appearances under head coach Rick Barnes.
Despite their strong regular season and deep tournament push, Tennessee was unable to claim its sixth SEC Tournament championship. The Vols will now shift their focus to the NCAA Tournament, where they hope to make a deep run and bounce back from their SEC title game loss.
