With 33 days left until the NBA Play-In starts and 37 days until the NBA Playoffs, it’s exciting to think about the possibilities. If the Play-In and Playoffs started today, here are some potential matchups:
Eastern Conference Play-In
– (7) TBD vs. (8) TBD: This matchup would feature teams fighting for the 7th and 8th seeds in the Eastern Conference.
– (9) TBD vs. (10) TBD: The winners of this matchup would face the losers of the 7/8 matchup for a chance to enter the playoffs.
Western Conference Play-In
– (7) TBD vs. (8) TBD: Similar to the Eastern Conference, this matchup would feature teams competing for the 7th and 8th seeds in the Western Conference.
– (9) TBD vs. (10) TBD: The winners of this matchup would face the losers of the 7/8 matchup for a chance to enter the playoffs.
As for the playoffs, the top six teams from each conference would automatically qualify. The winners of the Play-In tournament would join them, making up the 8 teams from each conference that would compete in the playoffs
