Elite 2026 Safety Blaine Bradford Commits to Ohio State
Ohio State has landed a major defensive piece for the 2026 class, as elite safety Blaine Bradford has announced his commitment to the Buckeyes.
The 6’2, 205-pound safety from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, chose Ohio State over a strong final group that included LSU, Oregon, and Texas. Despite heavy interest from his in-state Tigers, Bradford felt Columbus was the best fit.
“Ohio State is the best place for my development and for my future,” Bradford said in his commitment announcement.
Regarded as one of the top safeties in the 2026 class, Bradford brings elite size, versatility, and physicality to Ohio State’s secondary. His decision adds to the Buckeyes’ growing momentum on the recruiting trail as they continue to load up on defensive talent for the future.
