Duke quarterback Darian Mensah is expected to enter the transfer portal, sources told On3. The former Tulane transfer led the Blue Devils to an ACC championship during his lone season in Durham and is represented by Young Money APAA Sports.
Sources indicate Miami has emerged as the clear program to watch in his recruitment. Mensah passed for 3,646 yards, 30 touchdowns, and completed 68% of his throws. He finished third nationally in passing yards during the 2025 season, led the ACC, and ranked fifth in the FBS in passing touchdowns.
Duke compensated Mensah at the top end of the market for starting quarterbacks after he signed a two-year, $8 million deal. He earned All-ACC honors in 2025 and helped lead the Blue Devils to wins in their final three games of the season. Mensah immediately becomes the top quarterback available in the transfer portal, with the notification window set to close at midnight on Friday.
