The Arch Manning era has officially begun for Texas football, and the new starting quarterback is captivating the nation—though he had already done so, now he’s doing it with the full spotlight on him.
The young quarterback already had one of the top NIL valuations in the country, and with stars like Shedeur Sanders moving on to the next level, Manning swiftly became the highest-paid NIL athlete in the nation.
Manning has expanded his NIL portfolio by signing a deal with Red Bull, bringing his total NIL valuation to approximately $6.6 million—the highest among all collegiate athletes.
Manning has also secured NIL deals with EA Sports, which revived its College Football game in 2024, and Panini America, a company known for producing athlete trading cards.
Manning partnered with Panini before his freshman season with the Longhorns, during which he took a redshirt year, and later signed with EA Sports after initially hesitating to opt into the game, ultimately revealing the deal alongside his uncle, Peyton Manning.
With Arch Manning now leading the Longhorns in place of Quinn Ewers, Texas will begin its 2025 season—its second in the SEC—on Aug. 30 against the Ohio State Buckeyes, the team that eliminated them from the College Football Playoffs last year.
