Following a 2-0 week amid a series of upsets among top teams, Texas A&M basketball capitalized on the chaos and secured the No. 10 spot in the latest AP Top 25 rankings released Monday. The Aggies had previously held the No. 13 ranking.
A&M secured a 75-68 victory over Oklahoma at Reed Arena last Tuesday before traveling to Columbia, where they defeated South Carolina 76-72. With these wins, the Aggies have climbed into the top 10 for the second time this season. Experts are confident that they will once again secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
The Aggies have a break this week with no mid-week game before returning to action on Saturday for a road matchup against No. 15 Missouri. The game is set to start at 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
