Feaster is the second top prospect on the Crimson Tide’s list to reclassify this offseason, alongside 4-star running back Ezavier Crowell.
Ethan “Boobie” Feaster, a 5-star wide receiver from DeSoto, Texas, and one of the top-ranked players in the 2027 recruiting class, officially announced his reclassification to the class of 2026 this week, joining many others who opted to enter college football earlier than planned.
He announced his decision on social media.
Feaster, previously one of Alabama’s top priority prospects in the 2027 class, remains a key target for the 2026 class, joining fellow top recruit Ezavier Crowell as the second player to reclassify this month; Crowell, an in-state prospect from Jackson, Alabama, shifted from the state’s No. 1 overall player to No. 6 in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Like Crowell, Feaster experienced a slight drop in rankings, moving from the No. 1 overall player in Texas to No. 3, but at 6-foot, 175 lbs., he possesses a build similar to Alabama’s Ryan Williams, showcasing natural athleticism, smooth route-running, strong hands, and an impressive ability to win contested catches despite his size, making him a top receiver talent for next year’s class with Alabama expected to remain a strong contender in his recruitment.
