Former Texas Longhorns and Washington Huskies wide receiver Johntay Cook has been arrested in Grayson County, Texas, for possessing less than two ounces of marijuana, marking his second arrest in two weeks, according to On3.
Cook was previously arrested on February 4 in Tarrant County, Texas, on separate misdemeanor charges of theft and interfering with public duties.
A five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, Cook spent two seasons at Texas, recording 16 receptions for 273 yards and two touchdowns in 20 games before entering the transfer portal at the end of the regular season. He initially committed to Washington and was expected to join spring practice but decommitted after 17 days and has yet to choose a new team.
