
Texas secured their 13th SEC victory with a dominant defensive performance, defeating Georgia 57-26 while holding the Lady Bulldogs to single digits in three quarters. Taylor Jones led the way with her seventh double-double of the season, recording 17 points, a season-high 16 rebounds, and five blocks, while Rori Harmon and Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda contributed a combined 20 points. Harmon also made history as the first Texas women’s player to surpass 1,200 career points and 600 assists. The Longhorns controlled the game with a strong rebounding advantage (40-23) and a 30-9 edge in points off turnovers, closing the game on a 10-0 run. Now 27-2 overall and 13-1 in the SEC, Texas looks ahead to their next matchup against Mississippi State on Feb. 27.
