Joshua Dobbs, a former University of Tennessee quarterback, has signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the New England Patriots, with $3.8 million guaranteed though rumors making rounds the media suggests he is coming back as a bench coach.
At 30, Dobbs brings experience from previous stints with teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tennessee Titans. He joins the Patriots’ roster alongside quarterbacks Drake Maye and Joe Milton III.
Regarding Nico Iamaleava, another former Tennessee quarterback, he was reportedly involved in an $8 million Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal during his college career.
However, there is no information indicating that Iamaleava has signed any recent contracts or coaching deals.
