The Philadelphia Eagles have scheduled their visit to the White House for April 28 to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the date, noting that President Donald Trump extended the invitation and looks forward to welcoming the team.
In Super Bowl LIX, held on February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, the Eagles delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Chiefs 40–22. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP, completing 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards, throwing two touchdowns, rushing for another, and setting a Super Bowl record for quarterback rushing yards with 72.
The Eagles’ defense was instrumental in their victory, holding the Chiefs to just 23 yards in the first half and preventing them from achieving a historic three consecutive Super Bowl wins.
As of now, there are official reports indicating that President Trump has offered donations of $100 million to the team
