In recruiting, the USC Trojans constantly compete with top programs like Georgia and the SEC. In the 2025 cycle, both teams secured key targets from each other, with USC also landing former Georgia defensive lineman Jah Jarrett through the transfer portal to bolster Eric Henderson’s defense.
A Georgia commit from the 2026 class has scheduled an official visit with USC as the Trojans look to flip him. Top-100 defensive back Jontavius Wyman has scheduled an official visit with USC for June 13-15. Ranked 96th overall and the No. 6 safety in the 2026 class by Rivals, Wyman has been committed to Georgia since July 2023.
The Trojans have one committed defensive back in the 2026 class, Joshua Holland, who could play safety, along with ATH Madden Riordan, who is also a potential safety. Flipping Wyman, a Jonesboro, Georgia native, may be challenging, but with the new staff in place, his visit is expected to go well.
