Auburn remains the unanimous No. 1 in the AP Top 25 men’s basketball poll, while Kansas drops out of the rankings for the first time since 2021.

The Tigers (25-2) held their top spot after wins over Arkansas and Georgia last week. In Saturday’s 82-70 victory over Georgia, Johni Broome strengthened his case for national Player of the Year with a season-high 31 points and 14 rebounds.

Duke (24-3) climbed to No. 2 following a dominant 110-67 win over Illinois, while Florida (24-3) slipped to No. 3 despite victories over Oklahoma and LSU. Houston (23-4) and Tennessee (22-5) each moved up one spot to Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

Alabama (22-5), St. John’s (24-4), Michigan State (22-5), Iowa State (21-6), and Texas Tech (21-6) complete the top 10, with the Spartans jumping six spots to No. 8.

After holding the No. 23 spot last week, Kansas (18-9) is not ranked for the first time in 80 weeks. No. 23 St. Mary’s (25-4) and No. 25 BYU (19-8) moved into the Top 25 this week.
