Carson Beck, Hanna Cavinder have luxury cars stolen; arrest made

Miami quarterback Carson Beck and his girlfriend, Miami basketball player Hanna Cavinder, had their cars stolen during a home burglary on Thursday night.

According to reports, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrested Tykwon Deandre Anderson, charging him with burglary of an occupied dwelling while wearing a mask, grand theft, and grand theft of a vehicle. Beck told deputies that he and Cavinder were asleep during the incident, during which his Mercedes and Lamborghini, as well as Cavinder’s Range Rover, were stolen.

According to the report, Anderson and three others arrived in a rented vehicle, with two suspects jumping over a concrete fence to reach the driveway, where two cars were parked. They accessed the Range Rover, used its garage door opener to enter the home, and stole the keys to the other vehicles.

Deputies later found the abandoned Range Rover and Mercedes.

Beck joined Miami in January after four seasons at Georgia, while Cavinder and her twin sister, Haley, play for the Hurricanes. Hanna has appeared in 26 games this season, averaging 6.7 points per game.

This incident is part of a recent trend of high-profile burglaries targeting athletes, including NFL stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Joe Burrow.
