The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed linebacker Zack Baun to a three-year, $51 million contract, with $34 million guaranteed. This deal makes Baun one of the highest-paid linebackers in the NFL, with an average annual salary of $17 million. He’s now the fourth highest-paid linebacker in the league.
Baun’s impressive performance last season earned him First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. He racked up 151 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and five forced fumbles, making him a crucial part of the Eagles’ team.
The Eagles’ decision to re-sign Baun demonstrates their commitment to keeping their core players intact. This move follows the team’s recent extension of running back Saquon Barkley’s contract.
