
Happy 24th birthday to Walter Rouse, offensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings! Born on March 9, 2001, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Rouse has had an impressive football journey. He played college football at Stanford University from 2019 to 2022, starting 39 of 40 games, and later transferred to the University of Oklahoma for the 2023 season. The Vikings selected him in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Beyond football, Rouse carries a rich family legacy. His grandfather, Vic Rouse, was a key player on the 1963 Loyola Ramblers men’s basketball team, famously scoring the game-winning shot in the NCAA championship game.
