The Texas A&M Aggies will welcome back their star offensive lineman for the 2025 season.
The Texas A&M Aggies have experienced considerable turnover this offseason, but on Tuesday, they managed to keep an essential part of the team.
In an interview with TexAgs, senior offensive lineman Trey Zuhn confirmed his return for the 2025 season, where he is expected to resume his role as the starting left tackle.
Over the past three seasons, Zuhn has started 37 games at left tackle, playing in every game during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he started 11 of the Aggies’ 12 games, missing one due to injury.
The junior left tackle, selected as an offensive captain for this season, has met expectations by helping drive the nation’s 22nd-ranked rushing attack in 2024. He also played a key role in leading the Aggies’ run game to back-to-back 300-yard rushing performances, a feat they hadn’t accomplished since 2018.
Zuhn’s impact on the Aggie offense goes well beyond this season, as he was one of only two A&M linemen to start every game in 2023. With Zuhn and the other powerful members of the offensive line, the Aggies consistently rushed for 200 yards per game.He also provided solid protection for freshman QB Marcel Reed, who became a notable playmaker after stepping in for Conner Weigman midseason. As a result, he earned the Offensive Trenches Award at the team banquet after the season.
