Notably, Clayton Jr. delivered standout performances in critical games, including a career-high 33 points against Kentucky on January 4 and a 22-point, eight-assist effort in a road victory over then-No. 7 Alabama.

This accolade places Clayton Jr. alongside other top players in the nation, such as Auburn’s Johni Broome and Duke’s Cooper Flagg, who were unanimous selections for the AP All-America team.
