Jackson Cantwell, the nation’s top overall prospect in the class of 2026, recently concluded a three-day visit to the University of Miami. The 6-foot-8, 300-pound offensive tackle from Nixa, Missouri, expressed his enthusiasm about the experience, stating, “Had a blast at The U over the last three days!”
During his visit, Cantwell was particularly impressed by Miami’s strong emphasis on offensive line development. He highlighted the significance of head coach Mario Cristobal’s background, noting, “It’s the biggest selling point, honestly. What (Cristobal) does for the O-line room can’t be understated.”
Cantwell’s interest in Miami adds to the Hurricanes’ momentum in attracting top-tier talent. The program’s focus on building elite offensive linemen, combined with its rich history and culture, positions Miami as a compelling option for recruits like Cantwell.
As Cantwell continues to evaluate his options, Miami’s commitment to offensive line excellence under Coach Cristobal remains a pivotal factor in his decision-making process.
