Parker Pritchett Commits to Auburn Football
Parker Pritchett, a three-star offensive lineman from Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia, has announced his commitment to Auburn University. Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 305 pounds, Pritchett is the first offensive lineman to join Auburn’s 2026 recruiting class.
Pritchett made his decision public following Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend, a key recruiting event that attracts top high school talent. He expressed his strong connection to the university, stating, “It’s home here. It’s always been home here. I’ve known ever since I came up here.”
Throughout his recruitment, Pritchett held offers from several prominent programs, including Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi State. His relationship with Auburn’s offensive line coach, Jake Thornton, played a significant role in his commitment. Pritchett praised Coach Thornton as a “smart coach” who “coaches hard,” adding, “I talk to him every other day. It’s been great. We are tight.”
With Pritchett’s commitment, Auburn’s 2026 recruiting class now includes seven players, elevating the Tigers’ standing in national rankings. The addition of Pritchett bolsters Auburn’s offensive line for the upcoming seasons.
