In addition to the Chiefs, Trump is also hosting the Philadelphia Eagles, who recently won Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles are scheduled to visit the White House on April 28 to celebrate their victory.
This visit is significant, as the Eagles had declined to visit the White House after their 2018 Super Bowl win due to a feud between NFL players and President Trump over kneeling during the national anthem. The feud had started when some NFL players began kneeling during the national anthem to protest social injustice, which Trump strongly criticized.
Now, it seems that the Eagles are willing to put the past behind them and celebrate their Super Bowl win at the White House. The visit is expected to be a significant event, marking a new chapter in the relationship between the NFL and the White House.
