While the early signing period in December clarified much of the recruiting landscape, college football remains in constant flux. Coaching changes, transfer portal activity, new commitments, and updated player rankings have once again reshaped the class rankings as the February signing period approaches.
Oregon led our class rankings at the end of the early signing period and made key additions through the transfer portal to strengthen its class. However, the Ducks have experienced some changes, including ESPN 300 quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele returning to Cal after a short stint with the program. Meanwhile, Texas, which was right behind Oregon with a class headlined by five-star defenders Justus Terry at defensive tackle and versatile safety Jonah Williams, has climbed into the top spot.
After a disappointing season, Florida State finished the early signing period outside the top 25. However, the Seminoles made notable progress, including landing ESPN 300 offensive tackle Chastan Brown, which helped them climb 11 spots in the rankings.
With the hiring of Bill Belichick, all attention is on Chapel Hill. The legendary NFL coach took over a small recruiting class but has made significant progress, including securing ESPN 300 quarterback Bryce Baker. These efforts have propelled North Carolina into the rankings.
