The Florida Gators’ standout sophomore quarterback has landed a new NIL partnership with Red Bull, the world-famous energy drink brand known for its slogan, “Red Bull gives you wings.” The deal comes during another up-and-down season for Florida, adding a major off-field win for Lagway.
The collaboration was revealed Friday morning through a joint Instagram post shared by Red Bull and Lagway. The announcement quickly gained traction among fans and media, highlighting how Lagway’s growing popularity continues to extend beyond the football field.
The post’s caption “DJ’s got the arm, the aim, and now the wiiings” played off Red Bull’s signature marketing style while celebrating Lagway’s talent and charisma. The NIL agreement marks another major endorsement for the young quarterback, who’s becoming one of college football’s most marketable rising stars.
Lagway, represented by NETWORK, was the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2024 class and now boasts an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.9 million. His partnership portfolio is already impressive, featuring major brands like Gatorade, Jordan Brand, Chipotle, Beats by Dre, T-Mobile, and Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville, among others.

He now shares the spotlight with Texas quarterback Arch Manning, Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith, BYU basketball phenom AJ Dybantsa, and women’s basketball standouts Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame), MiLaysia Fulwiley (South Carolina), and Mikaylah Williams (LSU).

The Gators sit at 2-3 overall and 1-1 in SEC play after earning their first conference victory a 29-21 upset over then-No. 9 Texas last Saturday in Gainesville.
