Skilled offensive lineman Tyreek Jemison has announced his commitment to Kentucky, adding another key piece to the Wildcats’ 2026 recruiting class and strengthening their future along the offensive front with his size, versatility, and potential in the trenches.

Kentucky football’s recruiting surge has been scorching, though the offensive line hadn’t yet shared in the momentum especially after the recent decommitment of Jarvis Strickland. That changed when offensive line coach Eric Wolford landed a key pledge from Tyreek Jemison.

Jemison’s recruitment was a close battle, with N.C. State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Ole Miss all in the mix. His decision wasn’t clear-cut until he wrapped up his summer visits, capping things off with an official trip to Lexington. That final visit seemed to seal the deal for the Wildcats.

“I just really wanted to commit to Kentucky,” Jemison told KSR. “Just from the opportunities and relationships that I’ve built with Coach Wolf and Coach Stoops.”

Tyreek Jemison is a towering 6-foot-5, 350-pound offensive lineman out of Paulding County, located just outside Atlanta. He’s rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals and holds the No. 667 spot in the On3 Industry Ranking for the 2026 class.

In high school, Tyreek Jemison lines up at left tackle and also disrupts plays on the defensive line, but he’s projected to move inside to offensive guard at the college level. With few interior linemen on Kentucky’s big board, Jemison was a top priority due to his explosive play in the trenches. He’s quick off the snap, agile in space, and consistently clears defenders from the line of scrimmage. The Wildcats are adding a true mauler to the Big Blue Wall.
