With a 30-3 record, the Gamecocks clinched both the SEC Regular-Season and Tournament titles, sweeping the two for the third straight season and the seventh time in the last 11 seasons.

Their consistent performance has solidified their status as a powerhouse in women’s college basketball.

As the No. 1 seed in the Birmingham 2 Regional, South Carolina will host first- and second-round games at Colonial Life Arena. They are set to face No. 16 seed Tennessee Tech (26-5) on Friday, March 21. The winner of the matchup between No. 8 seed Utah (22-8) and No. 9 seed Indiana (19-12) will await them in the second round.

The other No. 1 seeds in the tournament include UCLA, Texas, and Southern California, highlighting a competitive field.
