Georgia football is steadily building its 2026 recruiting class. While the Bulldogs currently have only five commits, each is highly talented, contributing to Georgia’s No. 12 ranking nationally.
Among those five commits is a top-tier wide receiver known for his exceptional catching ability. If you need proof, just check out this recent workout video showcasing his skills.
Spafford, a four-star wide receiver, has been committed to Georgia since November. Based on the 247Sports composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 59 overall player nationally, the No. 8 wide receiver, and the No. 10 prospect from California.
Spafford’s California roots have added some uncertainty to his recruitment, as he has started exploring other programs, including USC. There’s a possibility he grew up as a USC fan, making the Trojans’ strong interest and his recent visit to the school a bit worrisome.
Keeping Spafford committed is crucial for Kirby Smart and his staff. Losing a player of his caliber would be a tough setback, so Georgia will need to stay strong over the next 10 months as his recruitment continues.
