Dia Bell, a five-star quarterback from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a pivotal component of the Texas Longhorns’ 2026 recruiting class. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds, Bell is ranked as the No. 1 recruit in Florida, the No. 2 quarterback nationally, and the No. 5 overall player in the country. Beyond his on-field talents, Bell actively contributes to the Longhorns’ recruiting efforts, assisting the coaching staff in attracting other top prospects. Despite his commitment to Texas, elite programs such as LSU, Georgia, and Ohio State continue to pursue him. Bell acknowledges these ongoing recruitment efforts but maintains a strong commitment to Texas, stating that his dedication remains firm as long as head coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee are part of the program. He has scheduled his official visit to Texas for June 20-22, 2025, following his participation in the team’s Junior Day earlier this year. Bell’s influence extends beyond his athletic abilities, as he plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Texas football through his leadership and recruitment support.
