The Tennessee Titans have officially brought tight end Gunnar Helm under contract, finalizing his rookie deal as part of their 2025 draft class. Helm becomes one of the growing list of draftees to secure a place on the roster ahead of the team’s rookie minicamp.
With Helm’s signing, the Titans now have six of their nine draft selections under contract. This move marks steady progress as the team works through finalizing deals with all members of its incoming rookie class.
In addition to Helm, the team came to terms with five other rookies this past Thursday. Safety Kevin Winston Jr., taken in the third round, was among those who finalized their rookie contracts.
Fourth-round picks receiver Elic Ayomanor and guard Jackson Slater also inked deals, further strengthening the Titans’ offensive depth heading into training camp and preseason preparations.
Two sixth-round selections, cornerback Marcus Harris and running back Kalel Mullings, rounded out the group of Thursday signings. Their additions add important depth to the defense and backfield, respectively.
Three draftees are still in contract negotiations. First-round quarterback Cam Ward has not yet signed, and fans are eager to see when the team’s top pick will finalize his deal.
Second-round pick Oluwafemi Oladejo, an outside linebacker, also remains unsigned. His eventual signing will be key as the Titans look to bolster their defensive front.
The third unsigned rookie is wide receiver Chimere Dike, another fourth-round pick. The Titans are expected to continue working with his representatives to finalize terms in the coming days.
All nine drafted players, along with a group of undrafted free agents, arrived in Nashville on Thursday to begin their NFL journey. Their arrival signals the official start of rookie activities.
The team held rookie minicamp practices on Friday and Saturday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park, giving coaches an early look at the newcomers as they adjust to the professional level.
