Known as “The Cadillac,” Wadiak is one of the most iconic figures in Gamecock football history. Playing from 1948 to 1951, he left an indelible mark on the program as a powerful and elusive running back.
Wadiak finished his career as South Carolina’s all-time leading rusher at the time, racking up over 2,800 yards an astonishing number in that era. His ability to break tackles, accelerate in the open field, and deliver clutch plays made him a fan favorite.
