Xavier Worthy, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, has been served with a temporary protective order by his ex-fiancée, Tia Jones. This development comes after Worthy’s arrest on March 7, 2025, for allegedly assaulting Jones, which was followed by the district attorney declining to press charges.
According to Jones’ lawyers, the protective order was granted due to Worthy’s “violent actions” against her. Jones is cooperating with law enforcement, who are still investigating the incident.
Worthy’s lawyers, however, claim that the allegations are “baseless” and that Jones was the one who became violent when Worthy asked her to leave his home after discovering her infidelity. They also stated that Jones destroyed property and physically assaulted Worthy, which is supported by photographic evidence.
The situation is still unfolding, and it’s unclear what the outcome will be. For now, the temporary protective order remains in place, and Jones is seeking justice through the formal legal process.
