This news should ease fans’ concerns, as speculation had been growing about Chinn attracting strong interest in free agency if Washington allowed negotiations to drag out. Graziano’s report indicates that general manager Adam Peters is proactive in securing a deal that benefits both sides.
Peters is expected to make significant roster changes ahead of the 2025 season. While the Commanders’ impressive run was a bright spot, there’s still a clear need to improve the starting lineup and strengthen depth. Fortunately, with ample salary-cap space and seven draft picks, Peters has the resources to tackle these challenges effectively.
