Texas A&M’s men’s basketball team’s departure to Denver for the NCAA Tournament was delayed on Monday due to a gas leak near the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Raymond Stotzer Parkway in College Station. The team had initially planned to fly out on Monday afternoon but rescheduled their departure to Tuesday as a result of the leak.
Despite the delay, the Aggies are expected to arrive in Denver with sufficient time to prepare for their first-round matchup against Yale, scheduled for Thursday at 6:25 p.m. Central Time.
Prior to the travel disruption, fans gathered on Monday to send off the team, expressing excitement and support as the Aggies embark on their tournament journey.
