A Panthers Player Accused of Cheating With Another Man’s Wife.

Serious allegations have emerged involving former All-Pro wide receiver Steve Smith Jr. and the Carolina Panthers.

Former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. went viral on Saturday for a story unrelated to football.

On Saturday, the husband of a woman connected to the Ravens Marching Band took to social media to publicly accuse Steve Smith of having an affair with his wife.

The controversy erupted in the early hours of the morning when an X user, Tony Martinez (@Lambeaughini), responded to a video post from Smith’s account, alleging that the former NFL star had slept with his wife.

Shortly after, a post directed at Steve Smith Sr., the Ravens, the Carolina Panthers, and multiple news outlets surfaced, allegedly containing screengrabs of text messages between Smith and the social media user’s wife.

After spending several hours reposting on X to draw the attention of news outlets and NFL-related accounts, the user then shared a video allegedly capturing a phone conversation between himself and Steve Smith.

In the video, the man appears to confront Smith about the alleged affair. The person, believed to be Smith, responds with, “I’m sorry,” while the other man continues to reprimand him. The call lasts nearly 90 seconds before ending.

The account continued to share additional screenshots of the alleged text exchanges between Smith and the user’s wife. One image appeared to show Smith standing in front of a mirror, with a cartoon unicorn covering his midsection.

Meanwhile, a screengrab of the text conversation between Smith and the woman was also posted on her Facebook account throughout the day. According to the post, the two allegedly met during Ravens training.
