The 2025 NFL free agency period is fast approaching, with only five and a half weeks remaining until players with expiring contracts can enter the open market. Teams across the league, including the Miami Dolphins, have until the new league year begins on March 12 at 4 p.m. Eastern to negotiate contract extensions, apply the franchise or transition tag, or allow players to test free agency.
The Dolphins have 32 players who could enter free agency, including restricted and exclusive rights free agents. Each year, we analyze Miami’s pending free agents, evaluating their contributions, potential impact next season, and whether the team should re-sign them, use a tag, or let them test the market.
The second player featured in our 2025 edition of the annual “Walk, Tag, Re-Sign” series is tight end Jack Stoll. After reviewing his 2024 season and sharing my thoughts on the Dolphins’ options for him in 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to vote on what you think the team should do. Be sure to join the discussion in the comments about Stoll’s role with the team.
