Due to expected severe weather in Austin, Texas officials have canceled Wednesday’s softball game against Akron with no reschedule update. The No. 1 Longhorns (11-0) will next play Stanford on Friday at Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium in Tucson, Arizona, as part of the Hillenbrand Invitational.
A winter cold front is set to bring temperatures down to the low 20s on Wednesday evening, following Tuesday’s rain showers that also led to the cancellation of Texas baseball’s game against Houston.
